M.A.D. Member: A Space Where Connection Grows

Community has been at the heart of Bodypack’s journey.

Our story goes way back to 1996, when we first created bags for the street scene: the Hip-Hop community, indie musicians, and extreme sports lovers, from BMX riders to skateboarders. We’ve grown, and so has our community. Now it’s been such a pleasure for us to see how our collections are loved by many, from professionals, travelers, active lifestyle enthusiasts, and more.

From that growth alone, we’re well aware of how you, and all these communities, have played such an important role in shaping Bodypack today. Your feedback has been instrumental in helping us improve for the better, and we’re keeping notes on all of that. The moment you choose to collect our pieces, is the moment you also support the team and the craftsmen behind every product.

All in all, we know we couldn’t have done it without your support throughout these years. That’s why, back in June 2021, we decided to launch our membership program as a way for us to give back to you.

Introducing M.A.D. Member

When we first created our membership program, our main goal was to give as many benefits to those who had been loyal to us. But as time goes on, we thought to ourselves, why not turn this into a space where our users can also connect with each other?

A way to connect with Bodypack users anywhere

At first, we kicked things off by opening a membership booth at every Bodypack event. We gave away exclusive access to those who were already part of M.A.D. Member, while also inviting more attendees to join. For us, meeting new people from different backgrounds quickly became the most enjoyable part. Seeing them make the most of their benefits at each event was truly priceless. We always made sure that every experience was fun, pleasant, and comfortable, because that’s what matters the most.

But providing those experiences wasn’t enough. We feel like we can do more to make them feel like they belong and feel seen in this community. Because, who doesn’t like being treated special? 

Then we came up with the idea to have a member’s members-only gathering, where we bring together our internal team to meet the M.A.D. Members. After careful planning, in 2024, we finally did our first-ever membership gathering, where we invited 15 lucky members to have an iftar together with the team. It was one of the memorable moments in our membership journey, and we do hope we can do it again in the future.

Then, in late 2024, we decided to make the most out of our social media channels by introducing the M.A.D. Member’s Lounge: a WhatsApp Community where every single one of our audience can join for free. To this day, our community has grown to over 24.000 members from across the country. It’s been exciting to see them interact, share opinions, and give testimonials about which Bodypack to get, and more.  We feel like this community has also helped strengthen the relationship between our team and our members.
